In Ibadan, Dugbe Market burnt

TWO separate fire incident yesterday razed parts of the headquartres complex of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) at Maitama District of Abuja F.C.T, and the popular Dugbe Market in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The two fire outbreaks occurred in the morning.
The immediate causes of the inferno were still unknown as at time of filing this report. But some eyewitnesses said the CAC fire outbreak was put under control by men of the Federal Fire Service.
Confirming the eyewitnesses’ account, Registrar-General of CAC, Abubakar Garba explained that there was no loss of documents.
According to him, men of the Federal Fire Service were quickly mobilised to put it out as soon as the fire outbreak was noticed.
“It was a minor fire incident at the CAC today which was quickly extinguished by the men of the Fire Service. However, there was no loss of document or live,” he said.
Similarly, firefighters responded to the scene of the Dugbe Market inferno which razed down entire rows of buildings and other structures before it was put under control.

U.S., Canada, others evacuate over 2000 nationals from Lagos

No fewer than 2000 foreign nationals have been identified for evacuation from Lagos by the governments of United States, Canada, France, United Kingdom, among others, in two weeks. The exercise, which began about 10 days ago, has led to the evacuation of 1,739 foreigners from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA). Bayern Munich 'make £35m bid for Manchester City star Leroy Sane - £11M LESS than he was signed for - after reaching an agreement on a five-year deal for the Germany winger'

Bayern Munich  have made  Manchester City  an offer of £35million to sign Leroy Sane, according to reports. The winger has been a long-term target for the German giants and they were keen to bring him to the Allianz Arena last summer only for him to suffer a horror injury in the Community Shield. Sane has not played since tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in that clash but he was back in training before the  coronavirus  shutdown.
